Frankly, I don't know why you would come here.

It's hard to live here, and this place is rarely spoken of - many wolves dub it simply The Barren Land. A vast expanse of limestone, littered with trecherous gaps that could break a wolf's leg if he didn't watch his step. There is little, if no, foliage, the majority of it being dry weeds. Careful now, because this is grizzly territory. Yes, grizzly bears. Those heavy creatures could snap a wolf's neck in one bite. They dominate the rocky and otherwise dead landscape, sheltering in clusters of forest. I wouldn't go in there, if I were you. For a wolf, there's nothing to seek here. The grass is thin and the rocks are sharp, and the terrain makes bones and muscles ache. Food is virtually non-existent. Any big game that does rarely journey here is nabbed by the grizzlies, and you'll probably be feeding on the malnourished mice that inhabit here, or the bears leftovers.

Your best best is to pass through The Barren Land as fast as your legs can carry you, and into the better lands beyond.
