Druid's Peak Pack Den Site
Nestled safely among the protective fir trees is where the wolves of Druid's Peak rest their aching muscles. They share one main den - a large mound of rock juts out from the ground, eroded by weather to create a large and convenient cave. Sleeping quarters are all dependent on heirarchy - alphas at the very back, then betas, elders, subordinates and yearlings. Although the whole clearing is normally safe from danger, two wolves are always to sit out front to guard the pack as they dream.
A tall Willow tree grows proudly from the soil atop the mound, providing excellent shade and a great area for the wolves to socialize. This is where the pack are called to for the territorial howl and 'call to arms'. Large boulders support the mound's base, and think brambles after them. The whole den site is ferociously guarded from any danger, as well as the druid's territory. A trickle of water runs through the clearing, after being cut off from the main river in a small landslide.
