CHARACTER RULES
[/blockquote][/blockquote][/b](law of the wolves)--> Names must be realistic at all costs. Unfortunately for some of you, this is not a Warrior Cat site; so no Frostfang or Brackenpelt. No silly names either, like 'Fluffernutter'. It's immature and sad.
--> Unfortunately, wolves in Yellowstone are very limited on japanese names like 'Kiba', but I'll make an exception. Just try to make them unique, and not totally based off 'anime' characters.
--> Unfortunately for those of you who like to have an overload of characters to play with, we have a character limit of 6. This prevents inactivity. You will be contacted by a staff if he/she feels your character is becoming inactive. Any adopted character counts towards your total. Staff may have 8 or more.
--> In case some of you haven't noticed, along with the packs you can choose from, there's also 'Dispersial' and 'Loners'. On this site, maybe not in others, there is a difference.
- Dispersials are usually yearlings who have left their previous pack to start a life of their own. Many don't live, but many join new packs.
- Loners are older wolves who have left their pack and either don't want to join one, or haven't been accepted. They are rarely accepted, so most of them spend their life wandering unclaimed lands.
--> You can't join as a pregnant she-wolf or as a cub. It causes too many complications. Either find a mate for your female character and have her expect cubs, or just change your char's age.
--> Sob-story historys are very annoying. You may find them cool, but really, they aren't. A good history will be unique and interesting. Sure, there could have been death in your character's life, but I'm sure s/he didn't become an orphan at 1 moon old and survive in the wilderness until a pack found her half-dead, or saw her entire pack dead.
--> Because this is a realistic wolf RP in Yellowstone national park, where wolves are protected, there are no hunters, whatsoever. End of story. You cannot have them in your history or in any IC threads.
--> And, because there are too many 'can't's up there, your wolf can be from a different nationality. Wolves are regularely intoduced in this yellowstone RP, so if your wolf was originally european and has a heavy french accent, so be it. It's allowed.
--> Although we're trying to make this site as realistic as possible, and subordinates irl can rarely have mates, we'll allow it here. Just to make the site more appealing.
